Gift Card Policy

 

1. Issuer:

This Gift Card Policy applies to gift cards issued by Pilotgear Pty Ltd ABN:83682607469.

2. Validity Period:

All Pilotgear gift cards issued on or after 1 November 2019 are valid for a minimum of 3 years from the date of purchase, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

The expiry date is either clearly displayed on each gift card or included in the confirmation email for gift cards.

3. Redemption:

Gift cards can be redeemed online at https://pilotgear.com.au toward the purchase of products available for sale.

They cannot be used to purchase additional gift cards.

4. Restrictions:

• Gift cards are not redeemable for cash or refunds, except as required by law.

• Lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards will not be replaced or refunded.

• Gift cards are single-use only; once redeemed, the balance cannot be reloaded.

5. Remaining Balance:

If a purchase is less than the gift card value, the remaining balance will be available for future use until the expiry date.

If a purchase exceeds the gift card value, the balance must be paid using another accepted payment method.

6. Refunds for Purchases Made With Gift Cards:

If an item purchased with a gift card is returned and a refund is approved, the amount will be refunded back to a new gift card or store credit.

7. Compliance With Law:

This policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010), including the Treasury Laws Amendment (Gift Cards) Act 2018.
