Product Info

Momentive SNAPSIL RTV102 is a one-component, ready-to-use white silicone adhesive sealant. It cures to a resilient silicone rubber on exposure to atmospheric moisture at room temperature, releasing acetic acid vapour as it cures. Its paste consistency allows it to be applied to vertical and overhead surfaces.

  • Bonds without primer to many clean metals, glass, ceramic, silicone rubber and some rigid plastics
  • Clean surfaces with a solvent such as naphtha or MEK and wipe dry before applying
  • Use in sections no thicker than 6 mm (1/4 in.)
  • Low temperature flexibility, with weathering, ozone and chemical resistance
  • Not for delicate electrical or electronic applications where corrosion of copper, brass or other sensitive metals is undesirable
