The NOVUS Golf Cart Scratch Remover & Colour Restoration Kit is a complete three-stage system for bringing scratched, faded paintwork back to a deep gloss. Developed with golf carts in mind, the same system suits gloss painted finishes more broadly, so it earns its keep on vehicles, boats and machinery around the workshop as well.

The kit works in three stages. NOVUS Extreme Compound cuts back heavier scratches and weathered paint, NOVUS Fine Polish clears swirl marks, light scratches and scuffs, and NOVUS Ultra Glaze Finish restores colour depth and clear coat lustre for a high gloss result that is easy to maintain. Together the three stages take a painted surface from dull and scratched to glossy and protected without the cost of a respray.

Application is designed around a standard corded or cordless drill, so there is no need for a dedicated polishing machine, and hand application is also an option if you prefer. The included 3" backing pad accepts the wool, medium foam and soft foam pads supplied, with a microfibre towel and nitrile gloves rounding out the kit. All you need to supply is the drill, masking tape and safety glasses.

Intended for gloss painted finishes. Not suitable for matte or satin paintwork. For acrylic windows and other plastic surfaces, use the NOVUS plastic polish range instead.

How to Use

DIY Application Instructions:

For best results, we recommend (drill) application with pads contained in kit.

Shake well. Start with a clean, dry surface. Insert 3" backing pad in drill and adjust the drill to maximum speed. Wear safety glasses during application.

FOR HEAVY SCRATCHES:

Attach the 3" wool pad to the backing pad and adjust the drill to maximum speed and apply a quarter-sized amount of NOVUS Extreme Compound onto blemished area or pad.
Work small sections at a time using overlapping passes until compound is almost gone. Reapply as needed otherwise proceed to next section.

FOR LIGHT/MINOR SCRATCHES:

Attach the 3" medium foam pad to the backing pad and apply a quarter-sized amount of NOVUS Fine Polish onto surface or to pad.
Work small sections at a time using overlapping passes until polish is almost gone. Reapply as needed otherwise proceed to next section for a high gloss finish.

FOR SURFACE CLEANING/SHINE:

Attach the 3" soft foam pad to the backing pad and apply a dime-sized amount of NOVUS Ultra Glaze Finish onto surface or to pad.
Work small sections at a time using overlapping passes until glaze is almost gone.
Wipe remaining residue off with a clean microfiber towel. Reapply as needed.
