The 27500 cable that has TE in the part number uses 22759/16 wire which has a thicker insulation, has a larger outside diameter and is slightly heavier.
The 27500 cable that has TG in the part number uses 22759/18 wire which has a thinner insulation and is a bit lighter.
The TE will be a slightly harder to work with due to the extra bit of weight and stiffness, but it will give more insulation and be better at resisting abrasions.
