The 3M Scotch-Brite™ General Purpose Hand Pad 07447 is a superior alternative to traditional steel wool, wire brushes, and sandpaper for cleaning and finishing tasks. Designed with very fine grade aluminum oxide abrasive, these maroon hand pads deliver fast, consistent cutting action while leaving a smooth, refined finish.
Each reusable pad is resistant to tearing, shredding, and loading, and unlike steel wool, will not rust or splinter. The non-woven, open-web design allows the pad to be used dry, with water, or with solvents, and it can be rinsed clean for reuse—ensuring a long, useful life.
Measuring 6 x 9 inches, the pad offers excellent flexibility and hand control for precision work. It can also be folded, stacked, or rolled to clean flat, contoured, or irregular surfaces. Compatible with hand pad blocks or in-line sanders, it's a versatile solution for various applications.
