Product Info

Champion CH48108-1 is a full-flow spin-on oil filter with an internal bypass valve. Champion's application charts list it for Continental-powered Cessna, Piper, Beech and Mooney aircraft, among others.

  • Full-pleat, resin-impregnated micronic media traps harmful particles, including metallic chips from abnormal engine wear
  • Anti-drain back valve and internal bypass valve, for TCM engines with or without a bypass valve in the oil filter adapter
  • Required for Cessna aircraft modified under Cessna Service Bulletin SEB-93-1 or MEB 93-1
  • Interchangeable with the longer CH48109-1 where clearance permits
  • Engines modified by service bulletin or field approval may need a different filter; check with the airframe or engine manufacturer
  • Boxed individually with an attached installation gasket
