Description

This Cleco Fastener & Clamp Set is a must-have for any metal fabrication project — ideal for welding, drilling, riveting, or precise panel fitting. It combines everything you need to securely position and hold sheet metal parts during assembly, mock-up, or repair.

The included Cleco pins (1/8" and 3/16") are spring-loaded fasteners that fit into pre-drilled holes, acting like temporary rivets to tightly clamp two sheets together. Use the included Cleco pliers to quickly insert and remove them during test fitting or alignment.

The pliers also operate the 1" brass side grip clamps, allowing you to secure two panels instantly with no twisting or pre-drilled holes required. Simply compress the pliers to open the jaws, position the clamp on the panel edge, then release to apply firm, even pressure. These clamps hold materials securely without overtightening or damaging surfaces, and can be quickly removed and reused just as easily when needed.

Directions for Use

Cleco Pins

Position the panels - Place one panel over the other in the desired position where you want to join them.
Drill the hole - At each fastening point, drill through both panels using a drill bit that matches the cleco size you plan on using: (1/8″ or 3/16″).
Load the cleco into pliers - Squeeze the Cleco pliers to compress a cleco fastener.
Insert the cleco - While holding the pliers compressed, insert the cleco into the drilled hole, then release the pliers so the fastener locks in place.
Repeat along the joint - Continue drilling and inserting clecos at the required spacing until the panels are secured.
Remove when finished - To remove, use the pliers to compress the cleco and pull it out of the hole.

Cleco Clamps

Align the panels – Place the panels edge-to-edge in the position you want to hold them together.
Load the clamp into pliers – Squeeze the Cleco pliers to compress a side grip clamp.
Attach the clamp – Position the clamp so the jaws grip across both panel edges, then release the pliers so the clamp grips tightly.
Remove when finished – To remove, use the pliers to compress the clamp and lift it off the panels.
