Malin Safety Wire (also known as lockwire) is the industry standard for securing bolts, nuts, and other fasteners in critical applications. By threading the wire through a drilled fastener and twisting it to another point, safety wire creates a positive locking mechanism that prevents parts from loosening due to vibration or stress.
Made from 302/304 stainless steel, Malin safety wire delivers excellent strength and corrosion resistance, making it reliable in even the most demanding environments. Please note: Malin safety wire is sold only by weight (1 lb spool), not by length. The length of wire on each spool varies depending on the chosen diameter. Wider diameters mean shorter lengths per spool.
