Product Info

100 x 1/8" cleco fasteners and a pair of cleco pliers. Shop quantity of the most used cleco size.

In the kit

  • 100 x 1/8" (copper) cleco fasteners, #30 drill (3.2 mm), 0 to 1/2" grip
  • 1 x Cleco pliers

Clecos hold two or more sheets tightly together through a drilled hole while you drill, rivet or weld. Insert and remove with the pliers. Enough pins to hold a full panel or a wing skin without pulling and reinserting as you go.

  • All fasteners are reusable.
  • Fits any #30 (3.2 mm) hole
  • Need fewer? The same kit comes as a 50 pin kit.

How to Use

Cleco Pins

  1. Position the panels - Place one panel over the other where you want to join them.
  2. Drill the hole - At each fastening point, drill through both panels with a drill bit that matches the cleco size.
  3. Load the cleco into the pliers - Squeeze the cleco pliers to compress a cleco fastener.
  4. Insert the cleco - Hold the pliers compressed, push the cleco into the hole, then release so it locks in place.
  5. Repeat along the joint - Continue drilling and inserting clecos at the required spacing until the panels are held.
  6. Remove when finished - Compress the cleco with the pliers and pull it out of the hole.
