클레코 핀은 스프링이 내장된 고정 장치로, 미리 뚫어 놓은 구멍에 끼워 넣어 두 개의 금속판을 단단히 고정합니다. 임시 리벳처럼 작용하여 조립이나 재배치 작업 중에 재료를 제자리에 고정시켜 줍니다. 클레코는 필요에 따라 빠르게 제거하고 다시 설치할 수 있어 작업 과정 내내 패널의 정렬 상태를 유지할 수 있습니다. 이 고정 장치는 전용 클레코 플라이어(별매)를 사용하여 설치 및 제거하는데, 이 플라이어는 작업 중에 자주 사용하게 되는 유용한 도구입니다.
