AeroShell Grease 7 is a multi-purpose synthetic aircraft grease of synthetic ester oil and clay thickener, with good load-carrying ability. Shell recommends it for highly loaded gears, actuator screw mechanisms, and instrument and general airframe lubrication.

  • Meets nearly all airframe grease requirements of turbine engine aircraft, and of piston engine aircraft where seal incompatibility does not occur
  • Approved by most civil aircraft manufacturers, by brand name or by specification
  • Inhibited against corrosion and oxidation; resists water washout
  • Not for use with seal materials incompatible with synthetic ester oil
  • Clay-based: do not mix with soap-based MIL-PRF-23827C Type I greases
