  • Lycoming Service Instruction 1424A sets out the check to perform whenever a new 15B26066 plunger assembly is installed, so the plunger does not stick in the collapsed position.
  • Lycoming advises not to reuse any plunger assembly that has been stuck in the collapsed position.
  • Service Instruction 1011N covers inspection and replacement guidelines for tappets, hydraulic lifter assemblies and hydraulic plungers.
